All staff were helpful but not pushy.Hair dryer not located in room-we had taken our own so that didn't matter. Grounds were immaculate.The satay was to die for!! Best we have eaten.We would recommend Sanur Beach Hotel.

This is a great hotel but in serious need of renovation and upgrading, particularly the rooms and the main coffee shop.

One of, if not the best beach location of all Sanur hotels. Lots of space; best beach-front and pools (2 large pools which were never full). Hotel getting a little old in terms of furnishings but great location close to small Warungs for eating and good hotel service.

As a gay couple we were treated with the utmost respect and consideration. The staff, especially the reception, business centre, cleaning and security were very friendly and always helpful.

The breakfast did not have much variety. I like the facilities, bars and restaurants on premises. Its not ideal for young, single person travelling alone (older clientele and family orientated). Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is good value. It is a very big hotel but the service is satisfactory and you are attended to promptly and courteously. We encountered a little too much traffic to get around to other parts of the city because the location is a little off center. We would not hesitate to book the hotel again on our next Bali visit.

Price is great, and albeit not being a brand new hotel, accomodation is outstanding in this quiet location of Sanur. The hotel has most beach facilities, two good pools, a couple of great restaurants and friendly staff that will make you feel welcome upon arrival. The location fits all ages, but does not really cater for the party crowd.

Came back after 20 years and found it just as good as we remembered.

Very simply, this is a great hotel in a great location, but investment is needed to upgrade the rooms and some of the facilities (eg gym).

The spa operating hours seems odd a little. we were hoping it could start earlier, or till later at night as we didn't get to enjoy it. The breakfast menu was awesome. However, we felt some discrimination happening during the breakfast tea/coffee servings. We felt that the waiters/ waitresses there seems to serve the caucasians only, and not to Asians.

I was covered with mosquito bites all over while attending the conference. The Hotel is bit old and do with some renovation

My stay at the Sanur Beach Hotel was a great experience and the staff were friendly and helpful. I hope to stay there again in 2009. Thank you for your email asking me to rate the services and accommodation.I found the leather shop in the Hotel very good and have recommended it to friends who will be staying at Sanur. I would like to see a brochure for the shop in the room guide as I thought it was a ready made shoe shop and didn't realise I could have leather goods made there until 3 days before I departed. Kim was able to make me a jacket in that time and it is very well made.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sanur Beach Hotel. The inclusive buffet breakfast service was excellent and very comprehensive. All in all, an excellent value for money hotel. The De-Luxe rooms have great views over the very large and impressive swimming pool and also great views of the ocean.

We loved having the beach and the pool so close, and being able to sit on the chairs under the trees on the beach while your staff would ask if we wanted anything to eat or drink - a real luxury. One suggestion - we didn't realise you have 2 breakfast rooms. If more people knew about the breakfast in the restaurant near Reception, the other breakfast room would not be so crowded in the mornings. Also, is it possible to extend breakfast until 10.30am or 11.00am rather than 10.00am as it would have been nice to sleep in longer in the mornings. Otherwise, we had a lovely time at your Hotel and will definitely be returning and telling all our friends about you.

Most of the decor in our room was in need of renovation, the varnish on the bathroom door was pealing and the wood was split in places. However, the service was excellent,and the staff were friendly and willing. I found the food and drinks slightly overpriced (20%tax), but good quality. On the whole I would rate the whole package 8/10.

We know this hotel for over more than 13 years. Excellent. Still, it is dangerous for Sanur Beach to welcome large group of Chinese, Taiwanese or Korean guests. Also people from Russia can give a very negative image to the hotel. Sanur Beach should be on the alert!

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have always found the staff efficient and friendly. Hotel is in a good location with restaurants and shops at your doostep. Also has a great pool. Great value for money hotel.

Good : There are some dedicated long term staffers at the hotel who provide very good service with a smile Rooms were cleaned thoroughly and quickly and were well presented Bad : The pool restaurant was very slow with service and over congested while we were there Some of the facilities like the games were either non-existant or in disrepair Food was only average and draft beer or any alternative to the local brew was not always available Prices in the bar were overpriced

When we arrived the room we had reserved wasn't available. We were supposed to have 2 beds and there was only one in the room we were given. It took quite a while for us to be given a room with 2 beds, necessary as my friend and I are not a couple. The room that was finally assigned to us was not prepared properly, no towels and the room smelled moldy. It took over an hour for us to get towels which were old and smelled bad (something between mold and gasoline). The floor under the beds was dusty, as was the space between the bed and wall behind it. The service at the restaurants was nearly nonexistent. The staff in the restaurants was non-attentive and non-reposnisve, almost to the point of ignoring us for up to 1/2 hour at a time to provide us with menus, water, or drinks, take orders and worst of all, to get our checks when we were done. This extended the time we had to eat to up to 1 1/2 hours in waiting time. The lack of attentiveness of the staff was not tied to the restaurants being busy as twice there were less than 10 tables seated in the restaurant and we still could not get any service. The staff stood around, talking to each other and pointedly not making eye contact with any of the seated patrons. The hotel is beautiful, we had stayed there several times before. We attended a banquet on one night and our entire group was afflicted with "Bali Belly" for the next 3 days. None of us had eaten anywhere but in the hotel's restaurants. None of us had ever gotten sick before from the food at the hotel before, or from any food we'd eaten on our numerous trips to Bali for that matter. I wouldn't have mentioned it but since you asked........... That being said, we would still stay at the hotel on our next excursion to Bali. Thank you.............

Am more than happy reply. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The food was excellent, the staff were happy, helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help me when my credit card was lost in the ATM machine.

Thank you for opportunity to comment on Sanur Beach Hotel. We really enjoyed our second visit to the hotel and we are hoping to come back next year. would highly recommend a stay at the hotel the staff are so friendly and you really do not need to venture outside the hotel because all your needs are more than catered for. On our last visit we stayed in a junior suite which was just outstanding and great value for money.

I simply cannot agree that you are classified as a 5 star hotel. I have made 5 trips to China in the past year and even 3 star hotels offer FREE broadband in all of their rooms. You need to seriously look at this. I won’t be staying with you again next year if you charge ridiculous internet rates. I expect more from a 5 star hotel.
